Naama Nativ: A Versatile Actress and Holistic Health Professional

Naama Nativ is an Israeli actress, model, and holistic health professional. She gained recognition in the entertainment industry for her role in the 2008 Hollywood comedy film You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, where she starred alongside Adam Sandler. While she has maintained a relatively low public profile, her career spans both acting and wellness coaching, demonstrating her diverse talents.

Born and raised in Israel, Naama Nativ developed a passion for performing arts at a young age. Her early career involved acting in television and film, where she gained experience in front of the camera. Although details about her upbringing and education remain largely private, her entry into Hollywood suggested a strong foundation in acting and performance.

Naama Nativ’s most notable role was in You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (2008), a satirical comedy film that follows the story of an Israeli counterterrorism operative, played by Adam Sandler, who fakes his death to pursue a dream of becoming a hairstylist in New York. The movie received mixed reviews but became a cult favorite, particularly for its humorous take on Israeli and Middle Eastern culture. Nativ played Sara, one of the supporting characters in the film.

Although You Don’t Mess with the Zohan remains her most well-known work, Nativ has been involved in other acting projects. However, she has not pursued a mainstream Hollywood career as extensively as some of her contemporaries. Instead, she transitioned into other professional areas.

In July 2006, Naama Nativ married American actor Matthew Settle, best known for his role as Rufus Humphrey in the hit TV series Gossip Girl. Their marriage attracted media attention, particularly due to Settle’s fame in the television industry. On March 5, 2009, the couple welcomed their daughter, Aven Angelica Settle.

Unfortunately, the marriage ended in divorce on May 10, 2011. Despite their separation, both Nativ and Settle have remained dedicated to co-parenting their daughter. While Settle continued his acting career, Nativ gradually shifted her focus toward holistic health and wellness.

After stepping away from acting, Naama Nativ pursued a career in holistic health and wellness. She became a certified nutrition and holistic health counselor (HHC, AADP) and also obtained certifications as a yoga instructor. Additionally, she earned credentials from the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), further expanding her expertise in wellness practices.

Her passion for health and well-being reflects a broader trend among public figures who transition from entertainment to wellness coaching. Nativ’s work in this field focuses on promoting balance, mindfulness, and healthy living. Her holistic approach integrates nutrition, mental well-being, and physical fitness.

In recent years, Naama Nativ has maintained a low profile, focusing on her personal and professional endeavors outside of the entertainment industry. While she may not be actively pursuing acting roles, her impact through both film and wellness coaching continues to be felt.

Her journey from Hollywood to holistic health showcases her adaptability and commitment to personal growth. Whether on screen or in her wellness practice, Naama Nativ has demonstrated a dedication to helping others, whether through entertainment or guiding them toward healthier lifestyles.
